Saw this movie yesterday. I was amazed by the trailer that’s why I went to see the movie but it was a disaster.
Pinu Patel ( Vinay Pathak ), a restaurateur in London, is cruelly over-aged to be a virgin. His only shot at marriage misfired when his traditional Indian bride-to-be eloped with her lover on the wedding day, further plunging the introvert Pinu into a complex about his personality, or the lack of it. The three characters [Vinay Pathak, Gul Panag and Anuj Chaudhary] keep talking randomly, without coming to the main issue. Besides, the talk, most of the times, is absolutely tasteless. There's a flicker of hope in the second hour. A few sequences are interestingly handled. So the film ends up dragging, the narrative staggers and the less-than-impressive songs loosen the pace even further.
Straight is not another Dostana but what could have been an enjoyable fare gets a little drab because of Pathak . Straight could have been so much funnier.

Spotlight: Atif Aslam

Muhammad Atif Aslam was born on 12th march 1983 in Wazirabad Gujranwala. Atif studied in Model town Lahore at Kimberley Hall School. His first stage manifestation was in a fancy dress show at his school when he was in grade–1 where he performed as Imran Khan “ Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team”

Atif has been nominated for a number of awards internationally during his short career which is again a matter of pride for the nation. His song Who Lamhay made him nominated as best singer for 2005 in almost all the film awards of bollywood including Film Fare Awrads , Zee Cine Awards , IIFA Awards etc etc . This is just a start. We need you guys to pray for him that God should always be extremely kind to him. This is just a start. We need to pray for him that God should always be extremely kind to him and he gives us much more good songs.

A R Rahman is world famous now. He has won 2 oscars. A little about him -Allah Rakha Rahman was on born January 6, 1967 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India He is a great film composer, record producer, musician and singer. His film scoring career began in the early 1990s.His first hits were Roja . He has won thirteen Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe and two Academy Awards.



A R Rahman lives in a joint family. He is married to Saira Banu and has two daughters Kadhija and Raheema and a son Khwaja Mohammad Roo mi Rahman.
Also he has 3 sisters (Raihana, Talath and Israth),.His sisters Raihana, Talath and Israth are good and professionally trained musicians. They often sing for him in chorus and appear on stage performances as well. He loves his mother Kareema Begum and dedicated oscar win to her.
Many credit him with having single-handedly revolutionized the standards of film music composition in India. He is also credited with re-energizing the popularity of Indian film music the world over.
